Authorities warned that stopping abruptly in live traffic lanes, even during an emergency, poses a severe hazard to road users.
Drivers whose vehicles remain operational are advised to move to the nearest exit or safe shoulder. If a vehicle cannot be moved, motorists should immediately contact the traffic control centre for assistance.
