His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the long-standing and strategic partnership between Bahrain and India.
These ties supported by multi-sectoral co-operation and engagement, HRH Prince Salman said during a meeting with the outgoing Indian Ambassador Vinod Kurian Jacob at Riffa Palace yesterday.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of further bolstering collaboration, outlining the strong people-to-people links, significant contributions of the Indian community and their role in the kingdom’s development.
Discussions also focused on issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments.
Ambassador Jacob expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to advancing Bahrain-India relations and wished the kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa along with senior officials were also in attendance.
