A number of violations were detected during a joint inspection campaign conducted by the Coastguard as part of ongoing efforts to maintain maritime safety, curb violations and enforce compliance.
The campaign targeted several coastal areas in Muharraq Governorate and was carried out in co-ordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, the Supreme Council for Environment’s General Directorate of Marine Resources and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority .
