Information Minister Dr Ramzan Nuaimi yesterday highlighted the need for Arab media institutions to actively engage with rapid technological transformations and contribute to shaping their impact while preserving Arab identity and culture.
Speaking at ‘The Ministers Roundtable’ at the Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai, Dr Al Nuaimi said Bahrain continues to develop its media sector by keeping pace with modern transformations while preserving national identity, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He emphasised the importance of providing audiences with accurate information, facts and context, and strengthening Arab media co-ordination to support the regional and international presence of Arab issues and positions.
The minister also highlighted investment in media professionals, modern content and credible Arab perspectives as key to strengthening Arab media and countering misinformation.
