Bahrain's delegation at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan took part today in the event's opening ceremony, held at the 30,000-capacity Paloma Mizuho Stadium.
Senior men’s basketball national team star Mustafa Hussain and dressage medal hopeful Aneesa Mahmood had the honour of leading the kingdom's team as flag-bearers in the parade of nations.
Approximately 230 participants, including Bahrain's top men's and women's athletes, coaches, administrators, media, and medical staff, are flying the kingdom's flag across 20 sports in the Olympic Council of Asia spectacle.
