The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received His Excellency Ni Ruchi, the outgoing Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
His Excellency Ni Ruchi conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China and His Excellency Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of China, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness.
In turn, His Royal Highness conveyed HM the King’s greetings and his own greetings to His Excellency Xi Jinping and His Excellency Li Qiang.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and China, stressing its steady growth across sectors and the importance of advancing cooperation to achieve mutual aspirations.
During the meeting, issues of common interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments, were discussed.
For his part, His Excellency Ni Ruchi expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
