Bahrain's Mikhail Arkhangelskiy has made history after winning the kingdom's first-ever gold medal in swimming at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Arkhangelskiy triumphed today in the men's 50 metres butterfly final in a new Asian record of 22.91 seconds.
His sensational victory earned Bahrain their first gold at this year's Asiad and third medal overall so far.
