National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) chief executive officer Dr. Ahmed Al Ansari presented national accreditation certificates to several healthcare institutions demonstrating top-tier medical and safety standards.
The Eye Infirmary’s two branches achieved the highest Diamond classification. Additionally, three other institutions secured the Platinum classification: King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), both branches of Aster Clinic and the Zain Dental and Orthodontic Centre.
Dr. Al Ansari highlighted the continuation of national efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services in Bahrain in accordance with the highest national and international standards.
He also stressed the support for the provision of advanced and comprehensive healthcare services to all members of society.
The NHRA official commended the vital role of private healthcare institutions in supporting the healthcare system through their continued commitment to improving service quality and strengthening institutional governance.
National accreditation, granted by the NHRA for four years, is one of its strategic initiatives to promote quality, transparency and institutional excellence in the sector.
