A domestic violence suspect escaped a police station cell in Florianópolis, Brazil, by squeezing his body through a six-inch (15cm) gap between the iron bars.
Surveillance footage captured the man manoeuvring through the narrow opening early on Saturday before grabbing his shoes and walking out of the building.
Santa Catarina Civil Police have since secured the cell for structural upgrades and issued an arrest warrant as the search continues.
