Bahrain’s sole Nissan distributor Y K Almoayyed & Sons has announced the upcoming arrival of the all-new Nissan Tekton in the kingdom.
Following its regional unveiling at Auto World Kuwait, details have been shared of the new model, which is designed to bring big-SUV confidence into a compact footprint.
Engineered under Nissan’s global ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy, the India-manufactured SUV blends distinctive styling, turbocharged performance and intelligent technology to deliver ‘More Than You Expect’.
Drawing design inspiration from the larger Nissan Patrol, the compact model boasts muscular proportions, an assertive front end, and full LED headlamps. Measuring 4,348mm in length with a 2,657mm wheelbase, it pairs compact exterior dimensions with a high 212mm ground clearance to give motorists added confidence across varied road conditions.
Under the bonnet, the Tekton features a responsive 1.3 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 153hp and up to 278Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed dual wet-clutch transmission and customisable Eco, Comfort, and Perso drive modes.
The cabin features a 10.1-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch digital cluster, and a six-speaker Arkamys Auditorium sound system.
Premium comfort features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 48-colour ambient lighting. Practical interior touches include cooled storage within the centre armrest, a wireless charger with an integrated cooling function, and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
Safety features include six standard airbags, a multi-view camera with 12 ultrasonic sensors, intelligent cruise control with Stop & Go, Blind Spot Warning, and automatic emergency braking.
