Bahraini businessman Mohammmed Biljeek was honoured during his recent visit to the Makhdoom Ali Mahimi Shrine in the Mahim area of Mumbai.
He was received by the shrine’s board chairman and Khandwani Group chairman Mohammed Khandwani.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed historical and cultural ties between Bahrain and Mumbai, as well as the values of coexistence, tolerance and respect for religions, and the importance of strengthening communication and understanding among societies and cultures.
Mr Biljeek, who is also head of Al Ajam Grand Ma’atam in Manama, received a commemorative memento at the end of the meeting.
