The Bahrain Chamber (BCCI) will host the 69th board meeting and 15th consultative meeting of the Federation of GCC Chambers today and tomorrow.
The meetings bring together heads of member federations and chambers from across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and the GCC Federation to address key regional economic priorities and boost business integration.
BCCI chairman Nabeel Kanoo stressed that closer public-private sector co-operation is crucial to navigate global shifts, protect market stability, and drive sustainable growth.
“The current phase requires building on our achievements to develop more proactive response mechanisms, diversify supply routes, and strengthen market readiness,” Mr Kanoo said.
Discussions will centre on proposals to boost industrial integration in the health, medical, agricultural, and food sectors. Delegates will explore joint Gulf investments to strengthen food security, build interconnected value chains, and unlock new cross-border trade opportunities.
