The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) organised an awareness programme at its headquarters in Riffa, highlighting women’s role in preserving Bahraini values, traditions and national identity among younger generations.
The programme brought together more than 100 participants from youth organisations, civil society institutions and committees affiliated with the SCW. Discussions focused on the role of women in passing on cultural heritage and national values through family upbringing, education and community participation.
The programme also addressed the importance of promoting respect, social solidarity and responsible use of digital technology among younger generations.
The event forms part of the SCW’s awareness initiatives supporting the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025 – 2026).
