The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) issued a charter outlining 43 principles and practical recommendations to strengthen family stability and cohesion.
The charter was developed through discussions involving 250 participants at a family forum organised by the foundation, bringing together specialists and representatives from Bahrain and the GCC countries.
The recommendations cover five areas: Identity and values, family communication, responsible technology use, psychological support and family cohesion.
They include setting aside screen-free family time, encouraging open communication with children, sharing household responsibilities, resolving disagreements constructively and providing emotional support during difficult circumstances.
The charter also emphasises religious and moral values, national identity, positive parenting, balanced technology use and seeking professional support when needed.
The foundation aims to make the charter a practical reference for families and organisations developing initiatives to strengthen family relationships and well-being.
