GOLF – His Majesty King Hamad’s humanitarian works and youth affairs representative and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated yesterday in the opening round of the eighth Bahrain Amateur Open at Royal Golf Club.
Shaikh Nasser praised the high standard of organisation, commending the efforts of the Bahrain Golf Association in organising the championship.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the competition provides an important opportunity for players to gain valuable experience and develop their technical skills while playing alongside leading golfers from around the world.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted the importance of the championship in advancing the game of golf, expanding its base of participants, and strengthening its presence at the local and international levels.
Shaikh Nasser delivered an impressive performance during his first 18 holes in the championship amid an atmosphere of strong competition amongst the players.
