Sixty-four fishermen facing eviction from their moorings along Al Fateh Corniche have won unanimous parliamentary backing for a temporary harbour and sufficient time to relocate their boats.
Parliament yesterday approved two related urgent proposals and referred them to the Cabinet for review, as concern grows over a November 5 deadline for boat owners to clear their current mooring sites .
