ONE of UK’s most sought-after singers, Clarissa, returns to entertain partygoers in Bahrain tonight.
She will be supported by The Coda JazKatz and ladies night resident DJ Eve taking over for a special set.
On Friday, a live jazz and blues session with Ahmed Al Qasim awaits crowds.
Recognised as one of Bahrain’s most talented, he is acclaimed for the creation of his unique jazz project in 2014, AQ’s Jazz Experience, which features him on vocals while playing his seven-string bass guitar.
He is also the lead singer and bass guitarist in the popular Bahraini group, Likwid, and the bass player in the new alternative Arabic music group, Mukhalef.
He has recorded numerous studio projects for local artists, along with famous Arab superstars, and performed at prestigious musical events and festivals across the region.
He will make his debut performance supported by residents, The Coda JazKatz.
Both events are free and will be held at the Coda Jazz Lounge, starting 10pm.
