MANAMA: UAE-based Adamas Motors has opened a state-of-the-art service centre in Bahrain, ahead of the launch of a showroom scheduled to coincide with the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021.
The high-end automobile dealership is bringing Aston Martin back into the kingdom after 5 years and introducing Lotus Cars and Morgan Motors with a fourth brand to follow.
The service centre located in Nuwaidrat will service all brands under the Adamas Motors umbrella while housing a temporary showroom in the leadup to the opening of its Moda Mall showroom opening at the end of the quarter, the company's top officials including operations director Chris Buxton and country manager for Bahrain George Duncan told the GDN during meetings yesterday.
"We are very pleased to open this authorised service centre for Aston Martin, Lotus and Morgan Motor Company and are ready to welcome existing and new customers. I am very positive about the future for Adamas Motors here in Bahrain," said Mr Buxton.
The brand-new showroom which will be the home to all 4 brands under one roof is "a multi-million dollar investment", he added.
It will feature a coffee shop, boutique, perfumery and a majlis for VIP customers and guests, conforming to the latest corporate identity requirements of all brands.
Cars offered by Adamas will range in price from BD19,000 to BD752,000, and are targetted at "discerning car enthusiasts".
Mr Duncan who has been working on the showroom's design and build over the last year or so said it the company is looking to offer "a unique lifestyle experience through a motor show feel and a one-stop-shop concept like a luxury department store on the lines of Harrods in London".
A statement quoted Adamas Motors chief executive Karl Hamer as saying: "We are very proud to invest in Bahrain and its people have always been close to my heart. Our objective is to provide customers with the full product range of the four marques, supported by our first-class service and customer experience."
