What do you think is the best solution to Bahrain’s stray dogs crisis
We need to first and foremost give all of them proper treatment of any diseases and take them to a shelter. If people are worthy of having a dog and, in turn, if the dog wants that person, well then we have a match!

I think all these dogs should be exterminated. They are adding nothing positive to the environment. Think about it – a tourist could come to Bahrain and he would be molested by wild dogs. It’s not just about me. It’s about the reputation of Bahrain.
I live in one of the most highly-guarded compounds, yet once a wild dog came and molested and killed my pets. All wild dogs should be put to sleep forever.

Here in Juffair I also face the same problem while walking. They are becoming violent due to lack of food. Their masters are leaving them when they exit the country. The government should do something otherwise more unfortunate accidents will rise.

Neutralisation of stray dogs, dog owners’ mandatory registration in the municipality, ban on sale on social media and fines, large fines for breeding without a licence.

How come Turkey has no such incidents?
Answer: All stray dogs and cats are sterilised and treated well.

If you fed a dog once or twice, the dog will never forget you for his entire life. This cute little thing needs love not discrimination. I think there is an Animal Welfare Centre here , they will take good care of them.
