Guests were taken on a culinary journey from Bahrain to Spain with the opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s latest pop-up resort restaurant Vivir last night.
Senior hotel executives were present at the event as socially-distanced diners enjoyed the ambiance, music and cuisine in safety next to the marina.
Vivir, meaning ‘to live’, is being run by Madrid-born Spanish chef Miguel Martinez, from The Ritz-Carlton Abama in Tenerife.
“The main objective is to keep providing our guests the opportunity to experience different cultures and tastes through a gastronomic journey without ever leaving the island in this unprecedented time,” said the beach resort’s general manager Bernard de Villèle.
Vivir is the fourth offering in a series of pop-up concepts at the alfresco venue.
