MANAMA: Tamcon, a Bahrain-based civil and building construction company, has announced the appointment of Mohammed Al Hammadi as chairman of its board of directors.
Mr Al Hammadi has more than 35 years of experience across several financial institutions, national organisations and fast-growing companies in Bahrain.
He currently serves as a board member on Investment Dar Bank and is also a senior advisor to Sinoma CDI Engineering.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Al Hammadi said, “I am honoured to have been chosen to take up the position of chairman at Tamcon. I look forward to the challenge, and to working with each and every member of the team in order to harness their collective experiences, strengths, and capabilities towards
bringing Tamcon to a new level of growth.”

A subsidiary of Al Khaleej Development Company (Tameer), Tamcon was established in 2007 as an independent construction company to focus on development of local and regional projects.
It has delivered projects in social housing, infrastructure, and residential development.
