MANAMA: The key role of Spanish football team Cordoba CF in promoting Bahrain abroad and raising awareness of the kingdom’s economic potential was the focus of a key meeting in Manama.
Bahrain Chamber first vice-chairman Khalid Najibi highlighted on the influence of sports and sporting events in raising awareness of countries, bridging communities, and encouraging trade and partnerships.
He reinstated the importance of capitalising on Bahrain’s presidency of Cordoba CF to promote the kingdom.
Cordoba Chamber board member Jesús Coca also asserted the influence of sports teams in fostering social and economic exchange.
