Scattered showers were reported across Bahrain yesterday with thunderstorms recorded in Durrat Al Bahrain.
The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s meteorological directorate issued a forecast for unsettled weather today and tomorrow with rain which may become thundery at times during the day.
Temperatures were at a minimum of 27°C yesterday, but were expected to rise to 29°C today and 31°C tomorrow.
“Weather today will be unsettled with a chance of rain which may become thundery at times during the day,” said a statement yesterday. It was expected to be humid and partly cloudy at times tomorrow. “Winds will mainly be easterly seven to 12 knots, reaching 12kt to 17kt with variable gusts reaching 35kt during the day.”
People took to social media yesterday sharing videos and pictures of the rain.
