Nada Abdulrahman, chief technology officer at Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), has received the ‘Most Outstanding Digital Transformation’ award during The World CIO 200 Summit 2022.
Organised by International Group of Artificial Intelligence and GEC Media Group and presented by Global CIO Forum under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Ms Abdulrahman was awarded among more than 17 CIOs from private and public organisations.
The award is to recognise their contributions to digitisation and embracing new technologies and artificial intelligence.
The selection of Ms Abdulrahman was based on her significant role in the digital transformation journey BDB has been going through, developing the infrastructure for information technology at the bank by adapting the latest technologies and operating systems, and designing a unique customer experience through ‘tijara’, the digital platform arm of BDB to support small and medium enterprises that will be launched in the last quarter of this year.
