His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs president Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
He expressed appreciation for the role played by the council and its efforts in serving Islam.
Shaikh Abdulrahman expressed gratitude to the King for his directives to the council to carry out its responsibilities in the service of the religion and the country, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty and guide him to the right path.
