Iraq and Oman played to a 1-1 stalemate this evening in the opening match of the 27th Gulf Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Mohammed Qasim opened the scoring for the Iraqis after only six minutes with a rocket from just inside the penalty box.
Oman then drew level in the 67th minute when Nasser Al Rawahi scored from close range following a fine assist by Ahmed Al Kaabi from their own half.
