Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism met with Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the Minister of Tourism noted the strength of the historical bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which continue to advance under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The two ministers discussed several areas of collaboration with a view of fostering the expansion of the tourism sector in both countries.
A number of topics were also discussed during the meeting, including the progress made following the establishment of tourism collaboration between both countries and joint promoting of the tourism sector.
The investment potential in both nations was also reviewed, particularly how promoting such investment may strengthen both nations' reputations as top international tourism destinations.
Minister Al Sairafi emphasized the Ministry of Tourism's commitment to promoting a strategy of collaboration, integration, and development, emphasizing on the value of partnerships and meetings with the UAE and other brotherly nations.
Abdulla Al Saleh, the Under Secretary of Foreign Trade and Industry also attended the meeting.
