Bahrain Steel, a subsidiary of Foulath Holding, has completed the installation of a set of new mooring dolphins at berth number 5 in the Bahrain Steel Terminal.
Present during a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the launch were assistant under-secretary of ports affairs Bader Al Mahmoud, maritime safety and environmental protection director Capt. Mohamed Al Merbati, Ports and Maritime Affairs director of port operations and technical services Capt. Mazen Al Balooshi, along-side officials from APM Terminals, Bahrain Steel and Foulath Holding.
The newly developed mooring dolphins and accessway will provide for safe mooring and unmooring operations of vessels docked at the Bahrain Steel Port, as well as safe access to all authorities and personnel boarding the vessels.
