MORE than 2,000 food hampers worth BD25,000 in total were donated and distributed to families in need by Alosra Supermarket, during Ramadan.
The company’s Ramadan food hampers drive is an annual charitable initiative done in partnership with a number of entities and charities including the Rotary Club of Salmaniya and Nakheel Centre.
“The annual Ramadan food hampers drive is one of Alosra’s long-standing initiatives that aims to extend a helping hand to those in need and allow the supermarket to give back to the community at a special time of year,” said Alosra retail director Ayachi Jomaa.
“The initiative is part of many projects we undertake annually to support the local community, with the well-being of the population being a key focus area for us.”
