The Saudi Food and Drug Authority has issued a warning regarding several Arla Protein Pudding products distributed in the kingdom.
The affected items include 200g six-packs in Chocolate, Hazelnut Latte, Salted Caramel, and Crème Brûlée flavours manufactured in Denmark.
The warning follows a voluntary notification from Arla Foods, which initiated a precautionary global recall due to the potential presence of small glass fragments.
The authority confirmed that no incidents or injuries related to the affected products have been reported in Saudi Arabia to date.
The specific affected batch numbers are ES26257001, ES26282001, ES26284001, ES26284002, ES26284003, ES26247001, ES26274001, ES26276001, ES26276002, ES26267001, and ES26273001.
Consumers are advised to avoid consuming the listed batches and dispose of them immediately.
Anyone who has consumed the product and experiences symptoms such as throat pain, abdominal distress, or nausea is urged to seek medical attention.
The regulator noted that it is coordinating with local suppliers to ensure the immediate withdrawal of the affected items from markets across the country.
Official figures stated that voluntary recalls represent a standard global safety procedure to protect public health.
The authority added that issuing a voluntary recall does not exempt a commercial enterprise from legal responsibility under applicable food safety laws.
