His Majesty King Hamad has expressed his appreciation and pride in all brave members of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) for their constant keenness to carry out national duties with courage and sincere determination.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces made the remarks as he visited the General Command of the BDF.
He praised the success of the ongoing initiatives by Bahrain to provide urgent humanitarian aid to support Palestinians in Gaza, thanking all those who contributed.
He stressed that the kingdom stands with Palestine in this difficult time, expressing hope for security and peace in the region and the world.
Upon arrival at the General Command, the King was received by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Abdulla Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Thiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and senior BDF staff. He was briefed on future plans to further develop BDF units.
