The Social Development Ministry and the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) have started implementing the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, during the weekly Cabinet meeting, to accept applications from those who meet the legal requirements of the Khatwa Programme for Home Projects for eligibility for a retirement pension.The ministry and the SIO praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s order, noting that it reflects his constant interest in providing all aspects of social protection for the citizens .
