The Crown Prince and Prime Minister has directed authorities to continue implementing the Economic Recovery Plan’s priorities and programmes, which include major development projects, and streamline commercial procedures to enhance efficiency.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued the directive as he chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.
“These measures will foster economic growth, expand the economy, meet the kingdom’s development and sustainability goals, and generate opportunities for Bahraini citizens,” he said.
In regards to the Economic Recovery Plan’s priorities and programmes, the Cabinet welcomed the inauguration of the Customs Affairs’ virtual customer service centre, and commended the Interior Ministry’s role in advancing the kingdom’s development.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister ordered to double financial support for eligible individuals receiving social security and disability allowances during Ramadan. He directed the Social Development Ministry to distribute financial support prior to the holy month to guarantee adequate living standards for citizens, particularly those in low-income groups.
