Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa visited the Camping Service Centre.
The visit was attended by Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat. Shaikh Khalifa was briefed on the statistics and the results of the organisational, security and environmental efforts.
The season registered 3,172 camps and more than 75,000 individuals used the e-services.
He emphasised the importance of campers and visitors continuing to adhere to the rules and guidelines until the end of the season on February 20 to ensure public safety, environmental protection and wildlife preservation.
