THE Cabinet has commended Bahrain’s achievements across various fields, inspired by the principles of the National Action Charter.

The National Action Charter was issued in December 2000 and a public referendum was carried out on February 14, 2001, which was approved by 98.4 per cent of Bahrainis. The Charter was then issued by the King as an historic breakthrough for Bahrain, and which contained many of the political and economic principles that affirmed its democratic approach.
The Cabinet also discussed the ongoing preparations and arrangements for hosting the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference under the patronage of His Majesty later this month.
It commended the efforts of the parties and committees concerned in ensuring the conference’s successful organisation.
HRH the Deputy King directed officials to double financial support for eligible individuals receiving social security and disability allowances in observance of Ramadan. He directed the Social Development Ministry to distribute financial support prior to Ramadan to guarantee adequate living standards for citizens, particularly those in low-income groups.
The Cabinet directed ministries and government agencies to continue advancing digital transformation projects.
