Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional developments.
The Foreign Minister also met Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov on the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council meeting.
They discussed bilateral relations based on mutual respect and the shared commitment to further developing co-operation. They explored means to expand collaboration to achieve common goals and serve common interests.
They also discussed issues of mutual concern.
Dr Al Zayani also met Dr Abdullah Khaleel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, on the sidelines of the session.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and means to enhance co-operation across various domains for mutual benefit.
They also exchanged views on current regional and international developments of common interests.
The Foreign Minister met Abdellatif Ouahbi, the Moroccan Minister of Justice.
The meeting reviewed the strong ties between the two kingdoms and the commitment of both leaderships to further develop bilateral co-operation and co-ordination. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Dr Al Zayani also met Nikola Stojanovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, on the sidelines of UN Human Rights Council’s session.
The meeting reviewed the strong ties between Bahrain and Serbia and explored means to further develop bilateral relations for mutual benefit.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common interest.
The meetings were attended by the Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla.
