A free medical campaign that aims to provide accessible healthcare services to Filipinos living and working in Bahrain will be held on February 27 from 8am to 2pm.
Organised by Hurricane Alpha Racing Dragons (HARD), in partnership with Al Hilal Multispecialty Medical Centre in Al Hidd, the event seeks to promote wellness and ensure that Filipinos in Bahrain have access to essential medical care and professional health consultations.
It will include free doctor consultation, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement, oxygen saturation check, total cholesterol testing and liver screening test.
The initiative – held under the slogan ‘Strength That Serves’ – will be led by HARD officers and team members, including captain Rodel Badajos, president Fidel Bandalan and coach Iyah Antonino.
“The event reflects the group’s mission to use their strength and unity to serve the community,” HARD said in a statement. “By extending medical assistance to the Filipino community, the programme emphasises compassion, solidarity and the importance of proactive health management among overseas Filipinos.”
