FOOTBALL – The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) held a coordination meeting ahead of tomorrow’s highly anticipated start to the 2026-27 season of the Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League.
The gathering took place at the BFA headquarters at Isa Sports City in Riffa, attended by BFA officials and representatives from Muharraq, Al Khaldiya, Riffa, Malkiya, A’ali, Hidd, Al Ahli, Al Ettifaq, East Riffa, and Manama.
BFA competitions committee head Mohammed Hussain chaired the meeting and discussed a number of key issues to ensure the smooth running of the new campaign, including the league system, match-day procedures, disciplinary penalties, refereeing, and media relations.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the BFA to answer any inquiries from the club representatives.
