As part of its continuous assessment of regional developments, and following the recent Iranian attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has affirmed that no abnormal radiation levels have been recorded in the Kingdom’s airspace or territorial waters.
The Council noted that monitoring operations are being conducted around the clock through a nationwide network of radiation and environmental sensors, in coordination with relevant national entities. It added that close coordination is ongoing with the GCC Emergency Management Centre, as well as with specialised regional and international organisations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency, to ensure timely and precise tracking of any developments.
It further confirmed that all environmental and radiological indicators remain within normal and safe limits, stressing that there is currently no cause for concern.
The Council called on the public to rely solely on official sources for information and to avoid the spread of rumours or unverified reports, underscoring its commitment to issuing immediate updates should there be any new developments.
