Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, received a phone call from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye.
The Amir and the Turkish President exchanged condolences for the fallen servicemen of Qatar Armed Forces’ helicopter crash in Qatari territorial waters.
The call also dealt with the latest developments in the region and the efforts made towards de-escalating and boosting stability. Shaikh Tamim thanked the Turkish President for Türkiye's efforts to stop the military escalation in the region, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
The two sides exchanged views on continuing coordination and dialogue between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint interests.
