Amid exceptional regional circumstances, Bahrain has maintained the continuity of its judicial system through remote litigation.
A total of 2,140 electronic hearings were conducted across 39 courts, reflecting the success of digital transformation efforts and the judiciary’s ability to operate without disruption.
Lawyers said virtual hearings have made it easier for judges, attorneys and litigants to participate without the need for physical attendance, helping save time and ensure the steady progress of cases.
The experience has also strengthened the efficiency and flexibility of judicial work, particularly in emergency situations.
