Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa chaired the third Security Committee meeting for 2026.
Senior officials from the Southern Governorate and Interior Ministry security directorates attended.
The meeting included briefings on police and civil defence actions taken in response to recent attacks on facilities and installations, commending their preparedness and rapid response.
He concluded by emphasising continued co-ordination to strengthen security and safety in the Governorate.
