Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, and Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa conducted an inspection visit to homes damaged in Sitra following the fall of debris resulting from the interception of an Iranian drone.
During the visit, the Chief and the Capital Governor checked on the safety of citizens and residents, noting that the injuries sustained by some citizens were minor, and are receiving full medical follow-up.

The Chief affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under its wise leadership and through its national institutions, is strong and capable of overcoming these challenges, and will emerge from this crisis stronger and more united.
He highlighted the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in following up on the conditions of those affected and in ensuring that all forms of support and care are provided to them.
He also noted the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to safeguard citizens and provide them with every means of support under all circumstances, reflecting the leadership’s approach to protecting the security and safety of society.
He further pointed to the close follow-up by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to implement the leadership’s directives and offer all capabilities to support those affected and provide their basic needs, including shelter arrangements and coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure a swift response to the repercussions of the incident and mitigate its effects.
He explained that the security authorities continue to perform their duties with professionalism and efficiency as part of the national efforts to protect lives and property and enhance immediate response to various emergency situations, reflecting the preparedness of the security system and its competence in dealing with such exceptional circumstances.
