Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain, recently staged a vital intervention by hosting a mental health webinar designed to offer a practical lifeline to the community amidst a period of regional unrest.
Solidarity Bahrain’s medical team has hosted a series of community led initiatives, and the webinar is the latest in the company’s proactive mission to provide comprehensive community care.
The latest session was specifically tailored for Solidarity’s own employees, medical insurance clients and their staff, family members and representatives from the media. By gathering such a broad cross-section of society, the session served as a supportive hub to explore the profound impact of stress and anxiety on daily life while introducing strategies to restore stability.
The event featured consultant psychiatrist Dr Gardenia Alsaffar, a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) with more than 20 years of clinical experience, who provided expert guidance on navigating the psychological toll of today’s ‘always-on’ culture.
Throughout the session, the focus remained on empowering participants to restore their sense of agency by prioritising their routines and physical health. The session emphasised the necessity of self-compassion and provided the community with the essential building blocks for long-term psychological resilience.
Solidarity Bahrain is heavily involved in community health initiatives, reflecting its strong commitment to promoting wellbeing beyond its core insurance services. The company actively supports and organises awareness campaigns, educational webinars and wellness programmes aimed at addressing both physical and mental health.
