Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Bahrain Society of Engineers chairman Abdulnabi Abdulla Al Sabah, and members of the board of directors, on their election for the 2026-2028 term.
Shaikh Khalid congratulated the chairman and board members on gaining the confidence of the General Assembly, commending the board’s harmonious mix that brings together seasoned professional expertise and promising youth capabilities, as well as the prominent role of Bahraini women in the engineering sector.
He also expressed his appreciation to the previous board of directors of the society, chaired by Dr Raeda Al Alawi, for their commendable efforts and initiatives that laid a solid foundation to build upon.
The Deputy Premier affirmed that the Bahraini engineer is a key partner in translating the civilisational, urban and economic visions of the kingdom into tangible, real achievements that support the objectives of the comprehensive development process.
