His Majesty King Hamad received a cable of congratulations from Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al Hurr) executive council chairman Yaqoob Mohammed, on the occasion of Labour Day.
Mr Mohammed extended, on his own behalf and on behalf of the federation’s members and affiliates, congratulations to His Majesty, noting that the occasion reflects the values of work and contribution, and highlights the central role of workers in supporting development and shaping the future.
He underscored the King’s continued support for Bahraini workers, noting that his directives have guided national policies, contributed to strengthening workers’ rights, and ensuring a fair and safe work environment that preserves dignity and stability.
He also highlighted His Majesty’s leadership in addressing regional challenges, including the repercussions of Iranian attacks, noting that the measures and directives taken contributed to safeguarding the kingdom, maintaining its security and stability, and protecting workers from negative impacts while ensuring continuity of work and stable living conditions. He added that this reflects the King’s keenness on empowering Bahraini citizens, considering that they are a fundamental national asset.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also received a similar cable of congratulations from Mr Mohammed.
