Saudi Arabia represents a strategic depth for the Gulf region, HRH Prince Salman stressed as he yesterday received Saudi Ambassador Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, at Gudaibiya Palace.
He affirmed the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to strengthen the historic relationship between both kingdoms.
HRH Prince Salman noted that the strong positions and initiatives of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud reflect the depth of the relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s ambitious vision and commitment to strengthening relations between the two kingdoms, noting his commitment to developing bilateral co-operation towards further growth and development.
He highlighted the importance of consolidating the distinguished strategic partnership between the two countries and creating new opportunities to further co-operation, to achieve prosperity for the two countries and their peoples.

HRH Prince Salman and Ambassador Al Sudairi discussed the latest regional and international developments, the positive outcomes of the Extraordinary Consultative Summit of the GCC Supreme Council in Jeddah, and its contribution to strengthening GCC integration and coordination, which supports the interests of the GCC member states and enhances their security and stability.
The Saudi ambassador expressed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment and interest in developing Bahrain-Saudi relations towards advanced levels, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
