His Majesty King Hamad yesterday reviewed the growing bilateral relations with Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
They also discussed ways to further advance co-operation across vital sectors, in a manner that serves the interests and objectives of the two nations.
This came as His Majesty received President Zelenskiy, who was on a visit to the kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the meeting.
The King and President Zelenskiy reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the region and ongoing efforts in this regard, as well as the latest developments concerning the crisis in Ukraine.
His Majesty thanked the Ukrainian President for his sincere sentiments of solidarity with Bahrain following the Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom’s territory and the GCC states.
His Majesty further emphasised Bahrain’s support for all initiatives and endeavours aimed at advancing dialogue and diplomacy to achieve a lasting peace in Ukraine, in a way that serves the interests of all parties and contributes to strengthening peace and stability across Europe and the world.
