A 63-year-old woman in Azerbaijan has become a first-time mother after waiting 38 years to have a child.
Dr Natig Magerramov, who oversaw her treatment, said the pregnancy was made possible following a successful fertility treatment programme.
He described the birth as a blessing and expressed gratitude for the positive outcome.
Childbirth at this age is extremely rare and is usually achieved with the help of advanced assisted reproductive technologies.
