Foreign Minister and Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies board of trustees chairman Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani yesterday chaired the board’s third meeting of the 2025-2026 academic year.
The minister expressed appreciation for the members’ continued contributions to advancing the academy’s role in developing national diplomatic talent.
He emphasised the importance of further enhancing the academy’s programmes and initiatives to meet evolving diplomatic and professional requirements.
Academy director-general Ambassador Dr Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa presented an overview of training activities and language programmes for the current academic year, highlighting progress in strengthening the professional capabilities of ministry’s personnel.
The board also reviewed progress on the academy’s new headquarters project, which is expected to provide a modern learning and training environment that supports the academy’s plans for diplomatic education and capacity-building.
